Being single doesn’t mean you do not have the desire to invest your money into something valuable such as real estate. Getting a mortgage loan can be a huge step for just one person. All kinds of doubts are crossing your mind such as “What if they cut my hours?if I lose my job? if I end up getting married?” It’s okay to take into consideration these thoughts but either way if you were to be renting it doesn’t change the situation. Instead of you still living with your mom or wasting money on rent you can get a mortgage loan with your sibling or a best friend whose still single also. Just because you aren’t married doesn’t give them any more power over the home or profit they can receive. For example, if in a few years you did lose your job or end up getting married you & the other loan recipient come to a conclusion & decide it is best to put the home for sale the profit would be 50/50. Another option would be to continue paying the loan until it is completed and the rent income coming in would be split 50/50. Which let’s face it, who wouldn’t enjoy a little extra income especially after getting married or having a kid. You will never be at a loss, your options to always be at a win when investing in real estate are endless. Therefore don’t let being single stop you from getting a mortgage loan.
